Fun Times
Another good day — with not near enough hands,
‘Cause I’ve got so many kitty fans.
Our little parade was happy and grand
And they got held and fed, just like we planned.
Little Black Velvet snuggled in arms
While Ginger Bear purred up her charms.
Mr. Black Sparks had no alarms,
But Leo said that he wants some veal parms.
I sure am missing young Tabby Toes
And his eyeball licking — you know how it goes.
I can’t help but wonder if his new family knows
That he’s trying to lick on more than their nose!
Upon my black coat slept grey Happy Paws
And I let him stay there all day just because.
Big Glitter joined him for a nap and a pause
(And yes, my poems do have their flaws).
But when the day is said and all done
Randy and cats had plenty of fun.
The two black ones want to get out and run,
But, until then, we’ll all bask in the sun.
