Golden Marble

Like the golden glass cat’s-eye of old,

I'm really quite stunning, or so I’ve been told.

I would not mean to be quite so bold,

But I’m good to hold as well as behold.

In addition to my lovely fur,

I’ll be bringing my soft, melodious purr.

I do not know dogs, pure-bred or cur,

But I’m young and I’m smart; I’ll learn for sure.

With other cats I do love to play,

Or I'll play with just YOU the whole bloomin’ day.

Mostly I’ll sleep when you go away

And when you come home we’ll have fun things to say.

Please meet my brother, Sir Tabby Toes.

If you like pretty kitties, he’s one of those.

Sis Goldie Bear has real pretty clothes,

They both also need homes, ’cause that’s how it goes.

I’m not saying I must live with them,

’Though I sure wouldn’t mind. *ahem* and *ahem*

If it’s just me, you’ll still be my gem

And I’ll do my most best to be your best friend.

Remember me, your golden-black ball,

And please fill out the form and give them a call.

Your love means the world to one so small;

I promise you’ll never be sorry at all.
